Darn, reports saying Saddam survived that bombing... Alive, dead; it don't matter. What is he leading, anyway?

What matters is the people in that building that we killed. I hope Saddam was along with them.

somebody of importance had to be in that building/bunker, all of these "sources", not just Saddam was seen, but other Ba'ath leaders. could all of those sources have taken CIA money and lied? were they all flipped? is the leadership intact enough to mount a counter-intelligence operation of this magnitude to fool us completely into launching this attack? are all the reports that we had our own special ops as part of the ground intelligence a lie?

the bottom line, we aren't going to get too many more shots at this. if this was a ruse by Saddam, then we won't ever take the chance of doing an attack like this again to get the leadership.
