I think Greta has more pluck than all the women reporters on fox put together. She asks blunt, pint blank questions and expects an answer. I haven't seen any of the others do that to her degree. She can be annoying sometimes, like when she got stuck on the ambulance thing, but overall I like her. I think we're still holding the cnn thing against her :-)

I tried shotgun modems a few years back. Earthlink sent me a cease and desist letter a month later. :(

No, starband is 500kbps downstram 100kbps upstream. DSL varies, but mine is 1.5mbps down 128kbps up.

Past that, I am not viewing their "coverage" of the war. And I am a happy person! Be happier if I had FNC though.

Oh, you poor thing. I wish there could be a Fox News Fairy for you. Last year when I was teaching first grade I made sure that the Crayon Fairy visited kids who didn't have any good boxes of crayons. She also sprinkled a little bit of glitter too.

DIRECTV is much better than old CATV here. The NHL "On Ice" hockey package is da bomb as they say in Baghdad.I get that with digital cable ... I get it for free, even, because my cable company is so stupid they cleared the channels for the free preview at the beginning of the season and forgot to rescramble them again.
A lot of the digital channels are so compressed, though, that it really compromises the picture quality. It was okay on my old TV, but I just got a new Sony WEGA that really makes it obvious.
