To be honest, I'm not surprised to hear the Arab press, or the Iraqis deny. They HAVE to deny. Honesty is not a quality admired in that neck of the woods. And the truth is irrelevent.
Pretty light on that palm tree in the msnbc2 cam. Sunlight or fire or floodlight? Inquiring minds... it went out whatever it was...nevermind. :-)

Has anyone thought to compare the craters from those market missles to the hit on Saddam last nite?

So, in order to make money, they will make the Americans look like murders? Sick.

Honesty is not a quality admired in that neck of the woods. And the truth is irrelevent. And admitting that you made a mistake or were wrong about something is evidently a sign of weakness there. Almost makes a person lose hope sometimes. Prairie sigh

Just saw the Scarborough piece - that was a good one....
To: Kadric
I did, looks just like the rubble from our WTC,we should have remotely piloted a 727 filled with semtex or Amfuel on that site, yeah it would have been a bigger crater but just imagine the saying later, "It was an Eye for an Eye".

Anybody watching cbs cam? Is that smoke or the poor camera is still recovering?
To: An.American.Expatriate
Looking at MSNBC webcam #2, I see the statue of Saddam still standing there. I just hope the webcam is operating when the people finally come out and pull it down. After all these hours of watching that piece of real estate, we deserve that, at least.
To: chnsmok
Anyone heard anything new about the F-15 and the two missing pilots? I scrolled back and there's nothing under "breaking news". Hmmmm...

at first they thought it was just nearby fire, then they realized it was actually their hotel -- and they figured it was 'just' an Iraqui irregular with an RPG. But when they found out it was an American 'hit' they got really upset! They better watch who they offend, Olie North was talking about how widespread the 'retribution' attacks are on the Ba'ath and Feyadeen(sp?..whatever, they won't be around long ;-). It may be the Iraqi 'regular' citizens that they have to worry about. Then again, the Iraqis will probably show more class than the leftists and just escort them out.

Is there ANYTHING more stomach-turning than watching David Halberstram kiss Wesley Clark's butt on CNN?
