Live report now. Conflicting reports about sniper on roof. Reports about bombing of Saddam. They went to the site, less security, civilians killed. a 6 year-old killed in the bunker (stay out of bunkers, kids). Enormous crater. 30 ft deep, 30 ft across

Bazooka gave one this AM...I am sure she will spout out again.

Anyone got anything on this thing BOORTZ is talking about?
A caller called in and said he saw the same man in both the Saddam walkabout and last nights bombing.

Iraqi TV off the air. Iraqi officials still in denial. Suitcases and generators being sold on the street.

The interviewee seems to say "ah" and "umm" and wave his arms about way too much to be a pro.
To: momofsixgirls
All he's talking about is the journalists incident. Seems nothing else is happening in Bahgdad or Iraq

I don't know if she does more than one broadcast a day, if so I haven't heard it.

Her voice is relating something every 10-15 minutes on CBS affiliated radio stations- since I use that time to rest my ears, I do not know how often the same item is repeated.
While AM radio talk show hosts are generally conservative, the 'news' broadcasts are strongly slanted by CBS, ABC or CNN reports.

Arab press questions Iraq post-war unity
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/888020/posts My thought for the day from a thread noone might read:
A postwar, unified Iraq may not be all that different than a postwar, unified United States with cultures as different as East Coast Uppities, Left Coast Loonies, Midwest Flatlanders, Bible Belt Folk, Cajuns, Texans, S.W. Americanos, Southern Hospitality Folk, Hillbillys, Rappers, and Lake Wobegon Lutherans.
They can make it work if they stop acting like three year olds with RPGs.

A FReeper mentioned the same thing on this thread yesterday.

Would love a picture of our guys in the Palace with the title "US Inspectors Relax at the Palace". All ya gotta do is ask: From the New York Daily News
(That's a cigar in the soldier's hand). Here's an excerpt from the accompanying story. "The U.S. soldiers made themselves right at home in Saddam's sumptuous house. They used the toilets in his many spacious bathrooms the first indoor plumbing many had seen in weeks flipped through documents and helped themselves to souvenir ashtrays, pillows, gold-painted glassware and boxes of Saddam's personal stationery. Bulky in their battle gear, they sprawled on the delicate cream-colored chaises longues in Saddam's ornate reception rooms. They even watched a little TV, plugging one of the dozens of television sets into a portable generator and snickering at a state-run broadcast."

No, but the theory that he uses a double to go with his sons, damm knowing that it could be a target, would mean that the real Saddam is still alive but without his sons. Not wanting to speculate, but here goes. If Saddam is on his own, and by that I mean with his sons dead, is they any possibility that even at this moment he might, just might walk away, or will this force him into a position where he uses chemical weapons, because now it's almost certain that we have found some of the weapons, he would have nothing to lose.

The dipstick said generators and suitcases are hot sellers on the streets of Baghdad. Fair enough. Then he added that genenerators were needed because otherwise there is no power in Iraqi homes, "and that affects water and sewage."
Do the Iraqis have electric toilets?
