I agree. I'm not pushing MSNBC, but I switch between Fox, MSNBC, and CNN during breaking news (just to see who's saying what) and MSNBC is almost always ahead of everyone else.

I agree. I'm not pushing MSNBC, but I switch between Fox, MSNBC, and CNN during breaking news (just to see who's saying what) and MSNBC is almost always ahead of everyone else. Or behind. The Admin is just using the most pathetic network for this ploy to draw out the leadership. Every ploy has worked brilliantly so far, from "Shock and Awe" to the "Operational Pause". This is yet another one.
Stock futures reacted well, spiking up 50 dow pts in 10 minutes, but now falling as traders realize what this really is. Hope it works!

Fox is simply not acknowledging this. Grete just did her teaser and said they'd be discussing where he might be. Valelly is... wait... war alert on now that AP reporting the strike... they may be working up to it. Waiting while analysts make frantic phone calls to their contacts at CENTCOM perhaps? Andrea's source was pentagon. They shouldn't know anything...
wait.. Shep breaking it now.

Hmmmm? Being first can have it's drawback.
When they found PFC Jessica, everybody disobeyed CentCom and released the information early, EXCEPT FOX.
However, it was FOX (Hannity), who got an EXCLUSIVE interview with the Chairman of the Jt Chiefs of Staff General Myers. And ... it wasn't a 60 sec spot either. I don't know how long he was on, but it was a long segment.
Also, a spokesperson for CentCom made an on-air statement acknowledging FOX's choice to do as CentCom requested. I believe this was the reason FOX was granted the interview with Myers.
