Fox is simply not acknowledging this. Grete just did her teaser and said they'd be discussing where he might be. Valelly is... wait... war alert on now that AP reporting the strike... they may be working up to it. Waiting while analysts make frantic phone calls to their contacts at CENTCOM perhaps? Andrea's source was pentagon. They shouldn't know anything...
wait.. Shep breaking it now.

The Fedayeen psychos/gangsters might continue on if Saddam is dead. The Fedayeen will continue even if Saddam personally ordered them to stop. They are the front-line terrorists of the regime, and are the first ones their terrorized people will KILL. They have no choices. They can stick with Saddam, and die. They can put down their arms and openly support us, and die. They can choose any weaselly option in between, and die. All any of those three choices will change is the how and when of their deaths.
To: Shermy
But that all changed with the last video. The one in the room with the walls covered with bedsheets. Saddam, sons and four officers.Good observations.
I always thought the first broadcast, the one where he's wearing reading glasses, was also genuine simply because he would not prerecord himself looking so bad.
I'm not surprised Saddam is more in control of himself than his associates. Laughing and smoking. He's always been into theatrics.
Besides, for good or evil, he's the one who's the real thing there. The rest, including his sons, are just flunkies. Murderous, evil flunkies, true. But then, that's what impresses Dad.

The Democrat Party CAN't believe the DNA. They will always have to question the validity of DNA tests as a matter of political survival. Even if the accept it in public, privatly they will have to smear it.
They have a real problem because this victory WILL be good for the US ecconomy. US companies are already lined up and competition from the french is gone and teh US dollar is re-established and the international currency king.
(now if only we can get UPS can stop referning to euro's in their commercial)

Fox breaking website banner now.
It did not mention anything about Saddam or sons, just that a leadership target was hit.
I am leaning toward that being the case, but will not fall for the "senior Pentagon sources" anymore and believe Saddam is a goner.
To: MeeknMing
Keeping fingers crossed as well. Thanks Meek.
To: CyberAnt
FOX is reporting it too!CNN just put up a "Breaking News" banner on it - says "may not know Saddam's condition for a while."
