Woudln't it be nice if al Jazeera showed these types of pictures, rather than only casualties? They seem more interested in whipping the Arab world into an anti-American fervor than showing how horrible of a dictator Saddam actually was (I will use was from now on, because he's toast).

Excellent, excellent post. You should post a "Faces of Liberation" thread regularly, every day, kind of like the "Gotta See This" posts. Screw the leftist media for not showing us these more.

Man, that picture of the little girl in the black shawl with the American flag is a winner. What a beautiful child.

I don't think a panty shield would be happy right now with all those smiling faces. There's something about that lady's smile and gesture that shows SHEER JOY!!

These photos signify that President George W. Bush's payday has come. These smiles, this joy--especially of the children--confirms the rightness of his and our cause.
Knowing how easily President Bush tears up over such things, I can well imagine his reaction. I know what my reaction is.

But ... But ... I just watched BBC news and did'nt see any of these photos ...

"Man, that picture of the little girl in the black shawl with the American flag is a winner. What a beautiful child."Uday can't get his filthy hands on her or anymore children in Iraq. (Can you imagine all the horror stories all the people could tell about the regime, after not being able to do so for such a long, long time?)

Nice! God bless the Iraqi people.

I just heard the story of that last one. It seems as an Iraqi fled Saddams regime twelve years ago. He served with the Marines as an interpreter when they moved into his home town. That's him being hugged as he is welcomed home after all these years.
