"Yeah,I'm sick of all this military hero crap.Let's hear more about pop singers and sports players getting into fights in bars". I believe that Joe feels that this story is beginning to shows signs of over-exposure. I have to agree.I'm certianly happy that she was rescued, but it seems like once a day we hear of another gift bestowed upon her by someone. Her prognosis is excellent according to the news, and I'm glad to hear it.What about the G.I.'s we read about who step on a mine, losing a leg or two? Have they been given a trip to Hawaii? Promised a scholarship? No, most likely they will spend many lonely nights in a V.A. hospital, followed by painful rehab. This story is getting out of hand, and I'm sure it will stir resentment among many vets who will not be making a full recovery. Through no fault of her own, this media circus is going to cause her some grief.
