I heard cigarettes are going for $50 a pack in Iraq. Is that true?
Also, in pictures on Fox today, it showed a palace with no furniture in it. There were wires hanging from the walls as if electrical equipment had been torn out. Did the Coalition forces take two palaces today? Does anyone know why no furniture?
I heard cigarettes are going for $50 a pack in Iraq. Is that true? Don't know, but shipments of supplies should contain tobacco, bringing the prices back down...it is a little like jail, though, with scarce items becoming "currency"...Poor fellows. I don't smoke, but I remember when my military father did...and it would have been difficult to go without them during times of stress.
