Give it a rest, Hildy. The Smart's got FREE press and interviews to help find their daughter. The Christian thing to do would be to at least offer some photo's of her for FREE, you know, sort of a thank you "gesture" for all the media attention they received. But they aren't doing that...$$$$.
They WANT the movie made, they hired an Entertainment Lawyer.

I've seen them knock on the door of hysterical crime victims wanting an interview . It can be really UGLY--the press has absolutely no mercy...Yes, they did a great service by providing a lot of publicity, but that is what the advertisers pay for....
On the other hand, I believe they need to back off and let Elizabeth Heal...NO MOVIES, just fix it so NO ONE ELSE can make a movie and profit off of it. I Think that's totally pathetic.
So did the Klaases. So did the van Damms. Do did the mother of Samantha in San Diego.
