Dr Fung Hung, the chief executive of the Prince of Wales hospital which is at the centre of Hong Kong's SARS crisis, is suffering from the disease.
His condition was described as stable.

The 45-year-old Dr Fung, who is also chief executive of a group of hospitals in the eastern part of Hong Kong's New Territories, was originally admitted to hospital with fever on March 27.
He was discharged on March 30.
Dr Fung was re-admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), said a spokeswoman for the Hospital Authority on Monday.
Dr William Ho, the chief executive of the Hospital Authority, was also hospitalized with SARS on March 23.
Earlier reports mentioned some patients seeming to get better, and then getting worse. I wonder how often this happens, and why?
