I've been wondering whose brainstorm the embedded reporters idea was. Can you give more (thumbnail is great) info on this being Torie Clarke's idea?

I read that Torie Clarke prepared an in-depth report on media access/relations during the war and recommended the embedded reporter strategy, which Rumsfeld, the joint chiefs and presumably President Bush subsequently approved.
