B-1s apparently the planes that flew the strikes in question.

Some crews are probably going to get the Air Force Cross for this mission. This mission is pretty close to the Yamamoto takedown, and came 10 or 11 days shy of the 60th anniversary of that mission (depending on when this attack actually occured). Tom Lanphier, the pilot who shot Yamamoto down, received the Navy cross for his role in the mission.

April seems to be our month.

I served in the Field Artillery. With the constant "crump" sound we can hear on the BagCam, people are dying tonight.

Never in my life have I ever heard such a continues "crump" from artillery.
