Someone probably already answered, but W already froze Iraq's assets in the USA. Not sure about the rest of his billions.

I haven't heard anything formal, but did hear Bush was firm in keeping the UN, France, Germany and Russia at arm's length; no matter how much Tony wants otherwise.

A Coalition of the UNwilling Warriors is not able to put together a plan to aid Iraqis in installing a new self-government. This is sooooo bogus.

Not to belabor this on this thread, but, bvw, you cannot possibly be serious.

Pollard was not JUST sentenced for information he gave about Saddam. It was more than that, and you know it. And OTHER CHARGES were dropped to get a deal so it ALL wouldn't be exposed on national TV -- which I am SURE would have suited Pollard just fine; he'd already BETRAYED his country to another country, why not share all its secrets with the entire world.

You're making it sound like he did it for some noble reason, when, in fact, he did it FOR MONEY.

And you can whine all you want to about how long he's served; most of us believe he should have been SHOT on the spot and are fine and dandy with the government making an example out of him.

He should rot in hell. Surely you must be able to find someone besides a despicable traitor to champion.

Yeah, I´m praying for his family, too. He was proud to be one of the few German embedded journalists...

Isn't is something to see these embedded journalists? A wonder to behold and what a service they are providing. And as we all are learning, though we knew it intellectually before it became a reality, at great and grave risk.

And it is thanks to such a journalist I would think, that we got to see again just now on Fox News, the British soldier give us the tour of one of the palaces, this one in Basra.

A bit of an update,daughter in law has been called from battalion stating there has ben an incident at com center,nothing follows.For those of you that don't know,my son is in 3ID ,2 brigade com center,sitting on pins and needles for info.It has ben 16 hours since the attack,we are still awaiting any news.

Have to love the fact that both our trrops and the british troops are walking around inside the palaces...even broadcasting from there. If Saddam is still alive that has to burn his ass, and even if he isn't that sends one powerful message to the whole region.
