How sad, Michael. He sounds like he was a fine reporter. Prayers for his family.

probably trying to see if it can draw any anti-aircraft fire from the ground, then they'd know where to bomb next. I don't think the Rackies are falling for it anymore, tho...

Funny thing is, in a few years, Baghdad may well replace Paris as a popular travel destination...

Cavuto did another good Common Sense on FoxNews today regarding the peacenicks. It is worth reading and should be up on the FoxNews website momentarily.
To: redlipstick
Neil Cavuto just did a great rant to the anti-war all-the-time folks who refuse to believe that Saddam might have needed to be put out of business.

The pell-mell rush into the densely populated outer fringes of Baghdad yesterday was an exhilarating experience for the young Marines, many of whom are not yet 20 years old. God bless our troops.

I'm a big fan of FR, but I'm pretty confident that this "observation" is one that more than just our clique of conservatives would have thought of. <<<<<
Agreed, but sometimes they will quote the comments almost exactly, not just the general idea. Of course our folks could have picked up the phrasing elsewhere, but it has happened often. I know some of the news guys lurk here, may even post here.

Except for the wind, things have gotten pretty quiet there... I imagine things will pick up again tonight like they did last night!!

It was a hoot! I told the peaceniks to remove their head from...er, ah...a very dark place.

Yeah, I´m praying for his family, too. He was proud to be one of the few German embedded journalists...
that´s war and with him a Spanish journalist as well as two soldiers died. Has anybody the names of the soldiers?
