Otherwise said, she is acknowledging that it appears that our side is winning and the socialists are losing again, and nobody gives a crap about New Zealand any more anyway, and why should they? It hasn't made a good political decision since WWII.

New Zealand hasn't made a good political decision since WWII? Well, consider these decisions:
- Joined ANZUS in 1951
- NZ Troops fought along side American troops in Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War I and Afghanistan. NZ also has a navy destroyer operating in the Gulf.
- New Zealand began to deregulate its economy in 1984, and has move from having one of the most regulated capitalist economies in the world to one of the least. New Zealand is the world leader in free trade and a lack of protectionism for industry and agriculture.
New Zealand has made some unwise political decisions since WWII, but so has every other country.
