Interesting thing is that Per Ahlmark is a liberal, and still he has traces of brain. He was the chairman for the liberal party (Folkpartiet) in the mid-to-late 70's. He has however left politics since, and obviously grown something resembling a brain.

You are wrong. Ahlmark is not a liberal in the American sense. Ahlmark is a strong anti-communist. Liberals in the USA is like communist so in the American context, Ahlmark is _not_ a liberal.

I own a couple of his books which are strongly anti-communist.
