I do agree, she's much smaller in person, as is Laura. I had the privilege of seeing them up close them during the 2000 campaign. They are both lovely!
You know, I'll never forget an interview with George and Barbara when Barbara was talking about how much she and Laura loved their respective husbands. She patted her husband on the leg and said about Laura, "She has HER George, and I have MINE."
She's a wonderful lady! (And some day, I'm going to meet Laura, too!)
