A suicide bomber has attacked US soldiers at Baghdad Airport, according to the US military.

I'd love to see some fun loving GI make a huge sign over one of the Bagdad Airport ramps signs saying "Due to a Shortage in Virgins, ALL Eternity requests for suicide bombers have been denied"! BLOW UP AT YOUR OWN RISK!

These people seemed quite irrational, given the fact that the ID was there to "liberate" them. I think we do have to remember this is an entirely different culture, most of them are very irrational. Finding rational Middle Easterners after this war is over to run that country isn't going to be easy.
Do we need to demonize them? With all the Iraqi propaganda who knows what they think of us.

It's not so much demonizing them ---but realizing they don't think like we do. Even the Shiites who are murdered by Saddam don't necessarily want the US and Britain to remove him from power. Look at the Shia web page --

the 4th Infantry was supposed to be steaming into Kuwait - where are they now? Hopefully they're massing on the Syrian border with their engines running.
