Hats off to you...
Getting anoher cup of caffiene(?) here...
only 2 1/2 hrs to go...
It's almost as if I feel guilty sleeping when I think of what the troops and their families are going through.
Tell ya what this reminds me of - - 1975. The US Combat Forces had long since left Nam and the NVA rolled from the DMZ into the Presidential Palace in Saigon in a matter of days. The South Vietnamiese Army basically just threw their weapons down. At the time, I was in the Armor Officer's Advanced Course at Fort Knox and couldn't wait to get home to catch the latest news each evening. Like now, I can't take my eyes off of what is happening.
I do think many underestimate MSNBC. From the Wall of photos they have been building to the military experts, they fill my needs. LTG Bernard Trainor is always on early to give his sober analysis; Colonel Ken Allard, former head of the National War College is brilliant; Colonel Jack Jacoby earned the MOH as an Infantry Lieutenant in Nam, and there are others. I guess whatever "floats your boat" as far as the 24/7 Cables go, is what matters. That there is competition, makes it better.
