Why is Bagdad falling so easily while Nasiryah and Basra are not yet 100% in coalition control? Hmm . .

That's what I was thinking. Seems I recall the military did a psychological profile on Saddam that indicated he had a "doomsday" type personality. If he senses he going to go down, his intent would be to go with a bang and take as many with him as possible. With luck, though, he is on life support somewhere and his next tier of command does not quite share that degree of conviction.

Basra are not yet 100% in coalition control?

I read on another post that Basra will surrender if Bhagdad
falls. From the high ranking Iraqi, via note, to the
British....
