I hope he pulls a Howard Beale during his final news conference.

Of course, none of this is true. It's all FauxNews, aka RNC, aka BushBot propoganda, pure and simple.
The truth, as can only be told by liberals, is that we're bogged down in a quagmire reminiscent of Vietnam by a combination of unexpected heavy resistance a la Mogadishu, failed military planning, and a derailed supply line resulting in a shortage of food, water, fuel, and ammo causing hundreds - no, thousands of American dead, filling graves as quickly as the military-industrial complex can dig them with their massive nature-poisoning and oppressed worker produced earth movers.
Can another round of massive draft callups be far behind?

So Swampie is on live television right now telling us we are failing. Seems like our boys and girls in Baghdad should have a pretty good bead on him right now. It'd be nice to see them pull the trigger right now on live TV.

It's 10:45am here in the UK. Last night I went to bed with the Iraqis promising to retake the airport, when I wake up this morning we are in Baghdad!
The BBC reporters in central Baghdad are wittering on with "I don't see anything, they aren't here, nothing is happening..." meanwhile, SkyNews is showing a column of US armour racing down the highway past tanks that have suffered catastrophic kills. I'd say we were advancing at about 30-40mph.
AND the citizens of Baghdad are out and waving and cheering!

"We have cutted them off. We have slaughtered them at the airport. They are the liars"
To: alnitak
This is what I love about FR and the internet.
The truth WILL get out here!
(Plus we can mock them all!)

I'm beginning to doubt that MSNBC is going to re-play that "We love Bush" segment with Bob Arnot. It's too pro-Bush... we'll never see it again, unless somehow FNC can run it.Maybe it'll show up again during the 2004 campaign season. "Fifty thousand cheering Iraqis can't be wrong ... vote Bush!"
To: Hazzardgate
We have cutted them off Withdrawels=Republican Gaurd being stopped fleeing Bhagdad
with suitcases full of money
History being made. (I wouldn't miss this for anything)

Yup. This will be a LONG day.

Relax, go to Fox. Both Ollie North and Greg Kelly are traveling with units that drove sevetal clicks inside Baghdad and destroyed many enemy vehiclesAlways wanted to ask, I know a "click" is a unit of measurement but exactly what is it's definition and from where is it derived. Old Air Force troop don't you know.
To: thasea
Are you hearing the gunfire and sirens on the MSNBC live Baghdad cam?!?!
To: Hazzardgate

MSNBC Baghdad is feed 2, but I still get a test pattern. Try the CBS link instead maybe. I'm fading fast here, but I posted a link to a page somewhere up thread.
