Oh My Gosh!!
LOL
I just moved to Texas from Hawaii and the storms there are pretty crazy...or so I thought until I got here.
By the by, another tornado watch tonight, but I'm not freaking out...I haven't made chili, so the tornado is like an hour or 2 from me :-)

Texas has the best thunderstorms in the world! Nothin' like a good 'ole thunderstorm. I saw my first 'nader when I was 5 years old sitting on my Grandma's front porch in Abilene. We were overlooking a field of cattle and watched it pick up those cattle and move them down the road.

Re: Hawaii: I guess you were at Schofield or Fort Shafter?
Hubby was stationed at Kaneohe 91-94. I wish we were still there.. Sometimes in the middle of a converstation I will get caught in a daydream of laying by the pool at the Hale Koa drinking mai tais.
