I was surprised to read that article - that most of the embeds are opposed to the war. I'd really hoped/thought being there and seeing a country liberation would make a difference.

Be of good cheer. There are 600 embedded reporters and there is no way one guy can say how they all are behaving.

No, I am not silly enough to think they are permanently changed or anything. But I think we can trust the reporting that we've observed and admired is gaining our admiration because in fact we are detecting those embeds' admiration for our troops.
