Smart bombs, very precise. The 10,000 or so Spec. Ops + the troops on the ground in Baghdad are able to call for air support when they discover "targets of opportunity" and pockets of resistance. (I think...geeze, 17 days and I'm opining on military stuff, lol!)

The guys on the ground can lazer dezignate a target, the jet jockey locks on and can drop from 30,000 feet and put a missile into a toilet bowl, day or night, as long as theres not to much smoke or cloud cover.
