LONDON, April 4 (KUNA) -- British military officials confirmed today that the British forces in southern Iraq found 56 missiles and four launchers. Reports here quoted military sources as saying that the Royal Fusiliers found short-range ballistic missiles near Al Zubayr.

According to the sources, "These posed a significant threat to coalition forces and we have called in our explosives ordnance disposal team." Also near Al Zubayr, 42 Commando gained control of a fertiliser plant where they discovered chemicals and hollow shells.

Reports here quoted a source at the Central Command in Qatar as saying, "We don't know what the chemicals were yet and we're still trying to establish that."

Why isn't Sadaam using these WMD? Or is he just leaving them around for everybody to find them?

It's okay - French's Mustard is not from France - and it wasn't even invented in France. It was named for the guy who created it - his last name just happened to be French. Let's not get paranoid.

I wonder where the Iraqis would have gotten such shells. Probably from the Shell store, I reckon.
