GOP Leaders Press Ehrlich To Veto Medical Marijuana
The Bush administration and other top national Republicans are heavily pressuring Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. to veto a proposal that would drastically reduce penalties for terminally ill patients who smoke marijuana to ease pain.
In recent days, several Republican officials have urged Ehrlich to reconsider his longtime support of medical marijuana, which has become one of the few issues that divide the state GOP.

We can always depend on you for constipation of the brain. LOL! I can always depend when the ad hominems come out that the truth hurts about the fact that pot and drug culture proponents use sick people as their human shields.

Using someone as a human shield puts them at risk; how do pro-pot legalizers put medical patients at risk?Uh a leader or lobbying group using a human shield is hiding behind sick or innocent people, to further their own cause.
In this case it is the pro-pot legalizers hiding behind sick people to further their own cause.
Either you're backing off from your "human shield" rhetoric, or you didn't answer the question. Which is it?

John Kerry -- makes stupid remark about "regime change" in reference to GWB
Dane on FR -- makes stupid remark about "human shields" in reference to pot reformers
Notice any similarities between the mindsets of Leftists and Drug Warriors??

Harry Anslinger is DEAD and has been for a long time.
Hitler's been dead for a long time too. Should we just forget about him?

I answered it. The concept of human shield is a political one.
Saddam uses human shield to protect his regime. He uses "volunteer" human shields to protect assets and further his political life and cause.
Pot proponents use the sympathy rightly garnered of physically sick people to further their political cause of making the recreational drug culture more mainstream.
If organizations such as NORML would stop at medical marijuana then they would be honest, but medical marijuana is not their ultimate goal. Their ultimate goal is for total legalization of pot and the drug culture and thus the pointing out of innocent people as their human shields to further their ultimate goal.

You, not they, constantly invoke his name. You, by supporting federal marijuana prohibition, constantly invoke his legacy.

Whew you are getting delusional, but keep on posting your ad hominems, people will see that your ultimate goal is not medical marijuana, but that your ultimate goal is the legalizing of all drugs.
Oh BTW, check out reply #47.

That IS their goal ... and mine, too Then why use sick people as pawns and human shields, for your ultimate goal of total legalization of pot and the drug culture.
Have you've ever heard of the word disingenuous?

but that your ultimate goal is the legalizing of all drugs.Correction -- RE-legalizing ... no federal prohibition existed until 1914, and we survived, without the federal leviathan breathing down our necks.
Realistically, I'd be satisfied if the federal government stepped out of the picture and allowed the states to prohibit/legalize as they see fit.

You know very well that your DARE propaganda packets are barely seperable from the knucle-dragging racist reefer madness pamphlets. The Drug War is no more enlightened today as in Anslinger's day. Put Asa Hutchinson in one of Anslinger's suits and you could not tell the difference. Same job, same rhetoric, and just as much a pack of lies.
