Baghdad Bob is going to lead a contingent of Iraqis throwing shoes at the troops?
To: Numbers Guy
If one of our soldiers or that of our allies is even hurt by some weapon of mass destruction we should pull our troops out of the Baghdad area and NUKE Baghdad!

If all else fails..threaten. I still think they are capable of the unthinkable.

al-Sahhaf hastened to add that there are actually no US troops at Baghdad International, because they've suffered a tremendous defeat two weeks ago. But if there were, tonight's attack would annihilate them.

IRAQ'S CHILLING WARNING |
 |
Iraq has warned it will take unconventional action against US troops at Baghdad International Airport tonight.
Saddam Hussein's information minister said: "Tonight we will carry out something that is non-conventional against them, not military. It will be a great example to them."
It was not clear what Mohammed Said al-Sahhaf meant by "non-conventional".
Asked if Iraq would use weapons of mass destruction, he said: "No, not at all. But we will conduct kind of martyrdom operations."
US-led forces have been on alert for possible Iraqi use of biological or chemical weapons, which Baghdad denies it possesses.
Iraq's main spokesman warned that US forces are isolated at Baghdad International Airport.
"Unless they surrender quickly, I don't think there's any chance that they will survive," he said.
"We consider it an isolated island. They are completely surrounded."
The US military meanwhile, said it now controls at least 70% of Baghdad's international airport and are flushing out remaining pockets of resistance.
Saddam Hussein has since appeared on Iraqi television urging the people of Baghdad to strike the enemy with force and telling them they will be victorious over invaders.
It is not known when the message was recorded.

At least he admitted that they are at the door of Baghdad and not retreating through Kuwait.

We've already seen the mother of all surprises -- pregnant women sent in at gunpoint to bomb the troops. Perhaps they are planning a children's crusade.

This was an audition tape for SNL, right?

The Iraq inormation minister is playing word games, with 'Unconventional Attack' instead of mentioning weapons.

Yeah, like he'd really give us a warning if they had something planned... maybe we better watch all the routes out of Baghdad for runaway Baathists, he seems to want us to concentrate our attention on the airport.

At least he admitted that they are at the door of Baghdad and not retreating through Kuwait. Tomorrow's broadcast: we will drive the cowardly coalition troops back to the airport, utterly defeating them.
Sunday's broadcast: we have roundly defeated the coalition troops, and soon they will be driven out of downtown Baghdad.
To: ewing
I thought this guy said we were nowhere near Baghdad. If they're going to lie, they should at least keep their story straight. No wonder the arabs are a surly lot.

Iraqi "special" forces have a 3 hour eating contest upwind of Baghdad International Airport - Doritos, Tab, Tex-Mex chili, and "Lucky" beer.
Fortunately, our troopers have full chem/bio suits and are unaffected.
