That was actually a good mission for reserve infantry battalions. What had been intended at one point was for a reserve rifle company to join an active duty battalion as the 4th company; back in the 70's and '80's and before USMC infantry battalions had 4 rifle companies. In any case, it was decided not to attach the reserve companies out and they guarded the big ammo dump, the MEF HQ and some other sites.

The Saudis had about seven different types of cops. That place was locked down pretty tight just with them.
