The Washington Post Michael Kelly spells his name differently, Kelly, from the one listed above, Kelley. It would help if the report would have said for what organization he is reporting.

It does. Atlantic Monthly, which is the magazine he edits.

Michael Kelly in the link at #10 works for Atlantic monthly, the article IDs the journalist as being embedded for Atlantic Monthly...
it's got to be him.

How sad. I've enjoyed his writing for years. Definitely one of the good guys.

To complicate things more, the Washington Post says that Micheal Kelly "is the editor of the Atlantic"
No word on cable TV news about this yet.

This is the Michael Kelly. He's the editor of the Atlantic Monthly. He's the top conservative columnist, and the most respected.

All things being equal (kelly or kelley), the title also refers to a place called Naghdad.

Just announced 5 minutes ago, journalist Michael Kelley embedded with US troops for the Atlantic Monthly Magazine was reported killed during the military action at Baghdad International airport.

The Washington Post Michael Kelly spells his name differently, Kelly, from the one listed above, Kelley. It would help if the report would have said for what organization he is reporting.

There was a misspelling in the name in the thread headder.

The Washington Post Michael Kelly is also the editor of the Atlantic. He is also the Michael Kelly that was embedded with the 3rd Mech. He is the one we lost.

Fox News said the guy was a contributer in the Washington Post. I'm not sure if he was a columnist or what, just that he had some things printed in the washington post.
