Nice. Very nice. And BUMP!
My impression is that the train has already pulled out of the station. Wave bye-bye to France! Germany might still make it, but they'll have to race us to the next stop in a Mercedes.

To Bad no one in Washington is reading this or is actually going to do anything along those lines.
It will be a case of SSDD, cause foggy bottom will win the battle and figure a meal of frog's legs, sauerkraut, tacos, molson and vodka, instead of budweiser and hot dogs, is a better meal.

What an article! I believe the US needs to SERIOUSLY evaluate our alliances and foreign aid spending. What is the use of giving billions in aid to countries like Egypt that allow their population to scream for our blood?
To bad none of this will ever happen.

And as for Britain, Australia, Spain, Denmark, Italy, and a host of
Eastern European countries
who are rolling down the tracks with us, waving to the exasperating at the station,
we have to show them as much appreciation for their stalwart courage
as we do abject disdain for the duplicity of their peers behind.
Leave it to Victor Davis Hanson to nail the issue.

At least Hanson is around since NRO went Frumious. What a great essay! How I hope someone at the WH reads it and pays attention.
