Turning on FoxNews is the first thing I do in the morning and turning off FoxNews is the last thing I do at night. Me too.

Me three. "Stickiness" must carry a lot of weight with advertisers.

Now, why they have to talk to that j--koff DJ from Chicago every morning I have no idea.

You have hit upon the biggest reason that I don't watch F&F.

If they would dump that disgusting foul mouthed Mancow, their rating would indeed beat out the big three. Man? Cow? What, can't figure out what he is? Humph, an insult to all bovines.

You sound like my wife and kids. She always calls me with breaking news, like "dog falls through ice" ;-)

I fall asleep to FoxNews, and wake up to it. LOL - eliminates the need to turn the TV off!

Did anyone catch it this morning? While waiting for the CENTCOM briefing to start, they were ragging on the FOX reporter there for always trying to hit on the NBC red-head sitting next to him. That was pretty funny.

This war is the beginning of the end of the lock on news by the NY/LA SLIMES, DC COMPOST and ABCNNBCBS.

When you consider that probably half the cable providers in America refuse to carry Fox News, Fox News is really doing great in the areas carryed by cable.

A female relative and her husband are buying a new home. They told the developer not to even run cable to their new home. They told him that DISH would install a new dish system for free in their new home.

She said that the way the developer acted, he must have been getting a kickback from the local cable company. He asked why they wanted DISH. When they told him to get FNC, he started to run FNC down. Her husband who is in construction and is 6'1" and 200 pounds of muscle, told the developer to STFU! The developer backed down. The dish receivers are all over this development in homes where people have moved in.

Washington Journal, which I used to watch regularly, got taken over by liberal producers and is overrun with liberal callers who lie so as to dominate the phone lines.

Typical "Republican Line" call:

I'm a Republican, but............

While Mancow is in manners camp, here's an idea from a freeper on another post that I think would be perfect for Fox and Friends.

Have a segment every morning where they air clips of the Iraqi information minister. When he makes one of his outrageous statements, such as "the airport has not fallen" or "the aggressors are not near Baghdad," have a hilarious laugh track go off.

Yeah, I did see that -- but I also noticed something else. Both the Fox reporter and the NBC reporter are left handed -- and smart lefties, who don't like to be constantly bumping elbows with someone, will find another lefty to sit beside!

Besides, Brian Kilmeade won my UNDYING loyalty on 9/11 when he accosted Bill Clinton and went OFF on him, practically shouting at him "dont' you feel responsible for this?" I LOVED IT! The look on the Toon's face was priceless! After that, I will never, ever watch another morning show.

Wow, Brian said that directly to Clintoon on the air - ON 9/11/01??? Wish I could've seen that... we weren't blessed with FNC until 12/01.

I never thought much about Brian Kilmeade until I saw him face off with Janeane Garafolo... as kristinn mentioned above, that WAS a classic!

BTW, I failed to see in the article any mention that The Washington Post is a major partner of MSNBC--a direct competitor of FOX News Channel.

Ha! Great point, kristinn!

Their guest list has ranged from those supportive of the war (think tankers Peter Brookes and Michael O'Hanlon) to those who are aggressively promoting it (Randy Scheunemann of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq).

I guess they must have missed Ms. Garofalo's meltdown, eh?

The libs are beside themselves. American viewers have made FOX News Channel number one in cable and their ratings are closing in on the Big Three.

When do ya think the libs will claim that FOX is a mere extension of the VRWC, which is a mere extension of the Republican Party....full of "ditto heads" who can't think for themselves, but "get emotional" and become "violent" because they listen to talk radio and Rush Limbaugh wannabees? : )

I am so glad to have Fox & Friends in the morning. Washington Journal, which I used to watch regularly, got taken over by liberal producers and is overrun with liberal callers who lie so as to dominate the phone lines.

Like s--- flowing downhill, liberals follow the path of least resistance. Why take on Fox when you can take over C-SPAN every morning, and have the added benefit of pretending the entire country agrees with you because all your liberal friends are doing the easy thing and calling C-SPAN as well?
