I've been taught the "thumb drill" -- my husband trained on the Garand before the M-14. We got one from the CMP also - nice one with matched parts, still in the Cosmoline. Daddy has a Garand that he brought back, along with some Iron Crosses, helmets, etc. etc. He also brought back a number of Lugers (his company took the surrender of the German XLV Army Gruppe) but he sold them all before I was born. Ah, well!

He has a plan.
Besides, he's a hoot.
Ships fast too.
Can you beat 200 on the AQT?
Send for the "rifleman" package and get the straight
scoop on demil of m-14s to semi auto.
We should be able to buy these just like the Garands.

I certainly hope this petition has some effect. It would be such a shame to see these great M-14 rifles destroyed.

Waste is such a horrible thing especially when an item is of such fine workmanship.
