Big grin.
[Gen. Franks] shuns big talk. Some time back, he told a press conference about the first book he ever read: "It was a book about Julius Caesar. I remember parts of it. The book said Julius Caesar was a general. He made long speeches. They killed him."

I guessed the "inside-out" phase would be the capture by Special Forces of the Water, Electricity, Airport and Communication Facilities to make the RG hiding in houses, come out to attack them and then kill them with helicopters, etc.
Then, again, what do I know. Whatever the Rummy/Franks plan is, it's working.

My guess is that the useful idiots within the leftist media were used to make the defenders of Baghdad and the Southern Iraqi Republican Guard Divisions think they had more time. Once you know their game, the leftist can be played like cheap fiddles.
