Well, somebody is making up something in this tale.

I wonder if the legend will take on a life of its own before
the simple truth (whatever it is) is confirmed.

I doubt we'll hear anything from the special ops folks, and
even the heroine may not be at complete liberty to speak
freely until her discharge.
