Actually, I never proposed her for any medal, but there are a lot of medals, from the Bronze Star to the Medal of Honor that can be awarded for valor.

Otherwise, who is to say Akbar of the 101st wasn't trying for one himself? What if he took the whole division out all the while pretending they were under seige?

There are logical reasons for the rules that they have.
