Blackdog, I heard a bit of Rush's program today, and he is also attacking PFC Lynch. He's calling into question the story that Ms. Lynch fought the Iraqis. He's also turning this story into another rant at feminists. In my opinion, Rush was way out of line. I can agree with many of his points about the feminists, but now is not the time.

Probably the protestor crowd that frequents all the WTO riots, the anti-America riots - our own in-country enemies.
Let them talk - it identifies the scum. Let the Democrats reveal their true identities also - we are taking notes.
They are beyond redemption and retraining in how to act appropriately - they are following their own subversive anti-American agenda and they should finally be seen as who they are. This is progress.

I hereby bestow upon Jessie the rank of Honorary Texan. Okay, but just remember that she's a true West-By-Gosh-Virginian, and we're very proud of her.

I think you mis heard, he was reading eMails from people who were saying those things.

Does Rush even know if Pfc. Lynch is a feminist? Simply because she's in the Army doesn't make her one.

I missed that. Shameful behavior on Rush's part, in my opinion. I've also seen messages here on FR questioning her performance. I responded to some of them, but had to stop. I was getting too angry.
Shame on Rush Limbaugh!

What I don't like is people using Pfc. Lynch in any way whatsoever. She's just gotten out of surgery, for pete's sake. Allow her to recover in private. Period.

Rush was NOT attacking Lynch! He read some e-mails from people that were and he defended her. This is how redicules rumors get started. sheesh

About all I'm going to say is this:
Give me twenty men and women with PFC Lynch's grit and determination, and I'll pull off regime change in Damascus, Teheran, Riyadh, Karachi, and Beijing!

I agree. I think any thread that contains remarks disrespectful to this young hero are repugnant. I think the entire thread should be pulled when these types of "discussions" take place.

I certainly HOPE that she doesn't fall prey to the sycophantic press and media outlets that will try to USE her for their own ratings. If she has a story to tell, I hope she does it with the same dignity and honor with which she has been portrayed to have done on the battlefield. Cheap sensationalism for profit will work with the masses but it is so damn transparent.

We can only pray that PFC Lynch is representative of her generation. If all that is being said is true then I know that the future of this country is indeed very bright and will be in much better hands than I previously thought.
