Actually, seeing them in concert usually is not a waste. They typically play their asses off for about two and a half hours and the tickets are pretty reasonable. They are pretty much known as one of the best live acts today. Seen them 6 times and never disappointed. They have bucked the record industry and been able to maintain some musical integrity. It's one thing to get on them for this disgusting stunt, but it is another thing to start harping on their abilities or sales when probably most of the people who are on this site would have no idea about either. Someone posted a plug for the new Metallica album which has one of the most contrived titles ever coming from a band that has not released a quality record in 15 years. I mean, I love the fact Three Doors Down did the video with the troops, but they are a mediocre band at best (and couldn't that video be exploiting the troops for commercial reasons?). As for the last PJ album, it did debut in the top 10(which does not say much these days) and has not sold all that well compared to past records. They are still a critically acclaimed band. They will and should pay a price for something like this, but as usual some people get a little too giddy with their responses.
