What number has Pearl Jams new album hit on the charts?
I remember a while back prior to its release taunting a Pearl Jam fan here that it wouldnt crack the top 100 and he was incensed and proclaimed it would hit the top 10.
I do know of an album coming out soon that will hit #1
St. Anger!
The new Metallica album. June 10th!

Metallica is hardly a "non-political" band. Selling out their fan base and changing their music didn't make enough money for them, so they began the political and legal assult that brought down Napster, ensuring that record companies will only sign pretty boy bands and bubble gum pop "musicians" that can't play more than 3 chords. At Napster's peak, record sales were at an increase because people had access to different music. Since its demise, sales have plummeted.
I was a huge Metallica fan that will never buy anything they ever produce again. Sadly, the songs that were mentioned in the previous postings "Creeping Death" and "Kill "Em All" are too difficult for them to perform anymore.

Is that the one where they're supposed to "sound like meshuggah"? (cough...)
those guys couldn't play meshuggah songs if the penalty for failure was a week at hedonism with the hildebeast.
I'd rather eat meatloaf out of a bedpan than aknowledge that metallica has even existed since '88

People still listen to those greedy industry puppets aka Alcohollica? The country and western that they play now is even worse than the Kill em All days. Much better music out there, don't give Euro-trash drummer Lars one more penny of your $!
