This may have already been posted, but I heard on the radio this morning that someone finally had the chutzpah to ask the Iraqi ambassador to the UN if Saddam was dead. He looked down, to the side and then said, "Well, anyway, this is not about one person. It's about the Iraqi people." :)

Tim Russert asked the Iraqi ambassador, Al-Douri, that question on Meet the Press Sunday morning.

Yeah the Iraqi ambassador short of chucked, but then wouldn't confirm that Saddam was alive.

He may be the only honest official in the Iraqi government since he didn't automatically say "Of course Saddam is alive."

yes that was Tim Russert on Meet the Press last Sunday. Russerts first question to Mr Combover was. "Is Saddam still alive?" Mr. Combovers response was ,"I think he is alive."
