I don't want the girls out there because I think situations like this are much tougher on morale than when the guys get captured. Among other reasons.
That said, if this woman, this supply clerk truly started firing her weaponand continued to kill the enemy as all around her were dying and being taken captured, tried to fight to the death until running out of ammunition, then I think she should be put up for, (and probably will get) the Congressional Medal of Honor. She is now very much my hero.
I say she'll probably get it because the feminists in Congress are probably licking their chops over getting their first (I assume) female CMOH winner. But it sounds like she may deserve it.

Interesting point, never thought of the medal aspect, and hope it doesn't come up because that would just be one more feminist point of contention, and real hero's don't need medals.
