I can't help but wonder why we allow these young girls to be sent to the front lines like this. Those sleazy Iraqis are known for rape, brutality, etc. There's also a black lady, to the best of my knowledge who's a POW. Somehow this just doesn't seem right.

Women in Combat: A political wedge issue under the Clinton administration to give credence to groups such as NOW and other women's organizations. THAT is why we have women on the front lines. If it had been Bush or a Republican, these people would now be out in droves criticizing it. But where are they

In this instance, because they fight like damn good soldiers!
There are some studies that seem to support the idea that women have a stronger will to survive, but men are more likely to give their lives for another. She wanted to survive, and brave men were willing to lay down their lives for her. What a country!!

The Marines had a booth at a job fair in my town Tuesday, and they had a chin-up bar set up there. Guys who could hang on and do 20 chin-ups got a T-shirt, but for the girls all it took was holding their chin above the bar for 70 seconds. I guess the military doesn't expect the women to be as strong.
