Is this a
(a) skirmish
(b) scuffle
(c) fight
(d) battle
(e) scrimmage
(f) brush
(g) attempt
(h) combat
Please let me know before I get too excited. Thankyou. ;)I believe this is a (i) lull. Yes, we are currently experiencing a LULL. No dog. That is all.

No, they don't. US no longer does body counts. Suppress the resistance and move on. If you go see if there are injured enemy over there then you are obligated to take care of them. Let the enemy handle his own wounded. It takes two enemy troops to carry away one wounded one.
Good point. Still, they're getting close to Baghdad. The enemy is sure to start abandoning their own wounded in upcoming battles. Enemy forces at your back can't pull the trigger any longer when confirmed dead...

I sense an air strike approaching as I would guess the Republican Guard is likely to rally and attempt to strike the column before the infidels can dig in.

That IS freaking me out!
They've been doing this all along. They have lots of help getting their propaganda out to the Arab world who buys it hook, line and sinker. They won't be happy until we are all reduced to living in mud huts and kept under burkas and beards.

The Iraqis will probably give Al Jazeera Memorex from Gulf War I.
To: Mark Felton
the sound of screaming and dying men saps the resolve and the will to fight of their colleagues. Probably true for the Iraqis, but as for the Americans, I'm sure it increases their will to fight.
