Tank looks like an ammo compartment fire. That M1 will live to fight another day. Just replace the blow out panels and give it a fresh coat of paint

Can tanks be repaired in the field if they're still salvageable? Or would we just destroy the tank ourselves to prevent the enemy from getting any useable stuff?
