I was adopted. My older brother told me when I was about 7 that when they got me, I had a brain problem. It was so small they had to have me operated on. They planted this really small brain in my head. It grew over the years and got bigger and bigger and bigger. When it got the size of a BB it rolled out of my ear. I went crying to my mom. I've never forgotten it! Jerk.

My sister was very disappointed that my neighbor brought me home and refused to give back the quarter.

Years before I was born my grandmother played a vicious trick on my sister: With a razor Gram cut sis's birthday date from the calendar and told her they passed a law dispensing with that day, and yes, that means they couldn't celebrate her birthday.
Four decades later, when I had to go through Gram's stuff, I found a strongbox filled with important family documents...and that calendar.

I'm so sorry. But I couldn't help laughing. Forgive me. :)
