BBC's censored reporter in BaghdadThe nice thing, IMHO, about the BBC coverage is that every time they have a report, the anchor always clearly says beforehand that "So-and-so's movements are restricted, and his reports are monitored by the Iraqi government." It's nice to hear them clearly state the nature of the regime there.

Don't know if these have been reported already-got them from The Corner, over at National Review :
NYTimes printed a correction, today, on the quote from Lt. Gen. William Wallace, Commander of the V Corps. When he was quoted last week, as saying " the enemy we are fighting,is not the one we war gamed against"- all hell broke out, the hand wringing leftist brigade came out of their hidey holes crying and screaming that we are in a quagmire,Rumsfeld didn't know what he was doing, etc, etc.
Well-apparently his exact quote was " The enemy we are fighting is a Bit Different from the one we war gamed against"- which changes the meaning of his comments totally.
Second bit-from the British paper,The Sun- Next time you hear a leftist say that it was because of American policies, that thousands of Iraqi children have died in the last 10 years-remind them that a huge Ba'ath Party warehouse was discovered by the 1st Battalion,Black Watch . Inside the warehouse was enough antibiotics and medical supplies to treat 10,000 Iraqi children. The Ba'ath Party has been hijacking UN medical supplies intended for the children of Iraq for years.I'm sure Daschle and the Democrats will be "shocked ".The supplies have been distributed to local clinics by the Brits.
