Centcom reporting that Iraqis are firing from mosques and describing the action as a last, desperate attempt. We will NOT fire on the mosques, and are calling the actions despicable. I saw that earlier today. What do you do? Surround the mosque and wait them out? Could be a long wait. I like the idea on the new sonic weapon we supposedly have now that we tested at Tora Bora. It sends a strong sound wave that disrupts your body and you go into a fetal position when hit. Temporary loss of senses. Would the Muslims go bananas if we turned it on the rats in the mosques?

From replay .. Arnot didn't have a helmet but saw an Iraqi helmet on the side of the road and grab it and put it on

"our wounds".....the reason i thought he said our wounds because i immediately thought, "oh no, someone is wounded."
sure hope there is a transcript! that was too cool. that is the second time i've heard dr. bob in a firefight. he is great in detailing what is going on.

Many years and 10 seconds after running from a fire fight, the family was offered "chicken or beef" and the mom laughed. Has to be my personal highlight of the war. Well, yeah. Not only that, but complete with an American play-by-play man with Hollywood looks and a microphone, doing interviews.... America is here!

It wouldn't surprise me if coalition tanks were rolling down Baghdad Ave.

Actually, the Sunni of the Saddam regime have taken up in an important Shiite Mosque. They want the US to harm it and upset the Shiite population of South Iraq. The US has smartly not taken that bait.

There is no reason for any war the US engages in to be any more difficult than this. The poor libs need to get used to this - we're not going to risk any more of our men's lives than we have to, and will be merciful but utterly destructive, to our enemies. It is nearly impossible to overstate the military advantage our good fighting men have over the rest of the world.

Just did a quick rewind of my tape. The quote was: We're going to withdraw a little bit, and uh..move back a little bit, lick our wounds, and do whatever Lt. Mayor tells us.
