We're not hearing many updates, prairie. ABC embed's supposed to be on the tarmac, but ABC was showing soaps. Satellite hook-ups aren't allowed according to Ollie - who's 8 miles from the airport and called our bombing of the airport "the most awesome display of aerial firepower that I've ever seen."

Some Iraqi nuts were driving around w/ megaphones telling the Iraqi people to go to the airport.

Stay tuned...

Ive been connecting the dots, so to speak.

Remember a few nights ago, when Fox reported that the Pentagon said that the "Iraqi regime would fall from within, not without". The other key statement that night was "we know who is with us and who is not."

We reach the outskirts of Baghdad.

The lights go out in the ENTIRE CITY! (Not just one or 2 grids). And according to another thread, they've gone our in Najaf as well. DOD and CENTCOM say no COALITION action caused that.

The wierdness at the airport.

I'm going to go out on a limb. Our getting to the outskirts of Baghdad set off a trip wire, but NOT THE ONE WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT. It was a signal to "those who are with us".

I think a coup is afoot.

I know it's far-fetched, but we'll know come morning light.

I just switched over to CNN to see how that network is presenting the news today, and couldn't help but noticing how Judy-German-Helmet-Hair is dressed in black (?) and looking absolutly deflated.

Aw, give her a break. She's just not sure how to make crow palatable so she and dear hubby Al can get some down their miserable craws.

What a telling photo in #3026!

They all are going to have to share some crow for dinner one of these days. And they're not looking forward to that meal.

Woah turn down that spotlight! I saw bats fly in front of the NTV cam, a lot of insects attracted to the spotlight in the yard: he's panning and zooming around now.......

Flying bats and bugs good! (It's when they start droping out of the air we have a REAL problem...)

Oh no. The office crazy guy is going around to different cubes telling his special brand of jokes. I think I might have to go to the breakroom for a while.

She ALWAYS looks deflated...

I'm not trying to make excuses for Judy W. who I have no use for, but she's got a child with spina bifida, so maybe some of her attitude is from that personal tragedy. I would guess so anyway.

He's Abby Normal, that one. I mean how does a three year old have a taste for coffee, the ability to recognize the difference between regular and decaf, and have a strong preference???

It's in the genes? :-)

My wife and I consume mucho cups daily (especially me - like 10 cups of the good Costa Rican stuff). My little girl was 18 months old when she started asking for coffee after supper.

She's been able to kick the habit since. :-)
