My heroes are the guys fighting in the front lines, thank you very much. My heroes are the guys who plucked Private Lynch out of the hospital. My hero isn't the helpless victim.

Wow, you are really on a role, now she is a helpless victim. I wonder if the Iraqis she shot thought she was helpless. What about the F-18 shot down today, was the pilot a helpless victim also? Or the men on the Blackhawk? Are you just completely incapable of understanding the fact that a girl could actually fight back? You really are one of the most pathetic people I have seen on this or any forum.

My hero isn't the helpless victim. May I suggest a better description of Jessica ?
Jessica wasn't helpless until she gave up or gave in- mentally. I see no evidence to believe she did so.
Nor was she a victim. She is a soldier and found herself in circumstamces that soldiers find themselves in occasionally.
She is a tough cookie and has 'true grit'.

My hero isn't the helpless victim.I don't think it's necessary that she be your "hero". It would just be kind of cool if it didn't seem like you were disparaging her.
