Both statements make me want to puke. Instead of celebrating the highly probable assertion that this young woman soldier kicked a lot of Iraqi ass, instead of realizing the moral boost stories like these offer, Destro wants to tear the story down.
Neanderthal's statement is pure BS. That young soldier's face (Shoshauna's) has been on TV regularly, deservedly so, to the point where I pray for her every night.
Chirac's statement about some people missing good opportunities to be quiet seems quite apt here.
And if she had been rescued someone would have implied it was an "affirmative action rescue". And I thought I was cynical lol.
As long as the story gives a moral boost-who cares about its accuracy/validity? How Orwellian of you.
